SAFETY MANHOLE ARRANGEMENT AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING
This invention relates to a manhole arrangement, for mounting on a tank (T) or other enclosed storage space, comprising a fixed part (4) and lid (2) that is pivotally attached to the fixed part (4) by means of hinges (5), wherein the fixed part (4) includes or is connected to an inner rim (41) presenting an opening (6), which inner rim (41) is arranged to sealingly interact with the lid (2) and a lock (11) arranged to enable locking of the lid (2) in sealing contact with the inner rim (41), wherein the lid (2) comprises an outer cover (20, 21), including an outer cover plate (20), and an inner plate (7) that is movably attached to the cover plate (20), such that the inner plate (7) is movable within a zone (Z) in relation to the cover plate (20) in a direction substantially along the normal (N) of the inner plate (7), wherein that the inner rim (4) is arranged to sealingly interact with the inner plate (7).
