The present invention relates to a heat transfer mat, to a method for manufacturing a heat transfer mat, and to a method for installing a heat transfer mat. The heat transfer mat comprises a first layer and a second layer arranged on top of each other, a liquid permeable substrate comprised in the first layer, the liquid permeable substrate is covering a first area, a heat transfer arrangement comprised in the second layer, the heat transfer arrangement comprising graphite and/or graphene and is covering a second area. The first area is larger than the second area, and the second area at least partly overlaps the first area.
