METHOD OF ASSEMBLING WIND TURBINE TOWER
A method of assembling a wind-turbine tower with a plurality of tower sections including a lower section and an upper section includes: a step of suspending the upper section above the lower section while the lower section is disposed upright so that an upper end portion of the lower section and a lower end portion of the upper section face each other; a step of moving the upper section toward the lower section in an upward-and-downward direction to adjust a clearance between the lower end portion of the upper section and the upper end portion of the lower section to be within a predetermined range, while a protruding portion on either one of the lower end portion of the upper section or the upper end portion of the lower section is engaged with a receiving portion on the other one of the lower end portion of the upper section or the upper end portion of the lower section; and a step of joining the lower end portion and the upper end portion by welding.
