The invention relates to a hinge frame (12). The hinge frame (12) is used on a window or a door for the pivoting movement of a casement having a casement frame relative to a frame. For horizontal adjustment, the hinge frame (12) has a gear mechanism having a gear (30) and a toothed profile (34). The gear mechanism is used to adjust the position of a fixing part (26) of the hinge frame (12) relative to a first hinge flap (20) of the hinge frame (12). The gear mechanism permits low-wear but nevertheless continuous adjustability of the first hinge flap (20) relative to the fixing part (26).
