The invention relates to a device consisting of parallel guide rails with pivot points arranged at a distance from one another along the longitudinal extension thereof, consisting of retaining elements for securing elements, such as cladding plates, which are each pivotally connected to the guide rails via pivot points, and consisting of longitudinally slidably push rods, guided by the guide rails, as well as connection elements that couple the retaining elements and the push rods to one another, for the purpose according to the invention of securing and pivoting elements (e.g. cladding plates or facade panels) that are attached close to a wall material, in such a way that a substantially parallel movement of elements is achieved, and that during this pivoting, despite the narrow distance to the wall material, angles of greater than 130 degrees can be achieved, without parts of the movement system protruding beyond the outer surface of the cladding plates.
