The invention relates to a plant cultivation module (1) for building a modular structure for a green wall, comprising: a box (2) for receiving a plant cultivation substrate (SU), provided with front and rear frames (20, 21) which face each other and are connected by upper and lower cross-members (22, 23); and at least two permeable holding walls (41; 42) supported by the box and used to form shelves for holding the substrate, where the two holding walls are staggered in both a vertical direction orthogonal to the lower and upper faces of the frame and a transverse direction orthogonal to the front and rear faces of the frame.
