ENGINEERED CEMENTITIOUS COMPOSITES COMPRISING PBO FIBERS
The present invention relates to an engineered cementitious composite comprising fibers made of poly(p-phenylene-2,6-benzobisoxazole) (PBO) as well as to the use of fibers made of poly(p-phenylene-2,6-benzobisoxazole) for preparing the engineered cementitious composite according to the invention, to the use of fibers made of poly(p-phenylene-2,6-benzobisoxazole) as an additive in wellbore cementing, and to the use of the engineered cementitious composite according to the invention as a construction material for bridges, highways, memorials, or buildings.
