The object of the invention is to provide an electric installation cabinet for storage of equipment and protection of electric cable intersection terminals with an improved cabling, when inserting the electric cables into the cabinet in an outdoor environment. The invention is an electric installation cabinet for an outdoor area comprising a bottom plate, a cabinet and a foundation structure, where said bottom plate is provided in a first area with at least one aperture for cable entry into said cabinet, and means for attaching/mounting said cabinet, where the bottom plate in said first area has an Omega shape, allowing cable entry into said at least one aperture through the opening path in the Omega shaped bottom plate in said first area of the bottom plate, and where in a second area different from said first area means for mounting said bottom plate to a foundation structure is provided, and where said second area is not covered by said cabinet.
