The present disclosure relates to a sliding door arrangement comprising a top rail (9) and at least one or more sliding doors (3, 5, 7) configured to be suspended from the top rail and to be slidable therein. Brackets (27), located at the ends of the top rail, comprise tongues (33) inserted into slots (25) of the top rail, and are attached to a vertical surface such as a wall besides the top rail. This provides and additional safety measure, should the top rail come loose, which prevents the doors (3, 5, 7) from falling.
