The invention relates to a method for controlling a electromechanical device (10) for actuating a lock, the electromechanical device (10) for actuating the lock comprising: an actuation mechanism (103) capable of being coupled to a movable portion (104) of a latch (13); an electric motor (101) that drives the actuating mechanism (103); a control unit (102); and a reference curve (106). The controlmethod comprises the following steps: a) measuring a variable position of the actuation mechanism (103), b) controlling at least one parameter of the electric motor (101) by the control unit (102) according to the reference curve (106), the drive direction of the electric motor (101) and the variable position of the actuation mechanism (103).
