Die Erfindung betrifft ein Profilsystem für eine sanitäre Anlage, wie eine bodengleiche Dusche, das wenigstens ein Profilelement 55 und wenigstens ein flächiges und flexibles Dichtelement 53 umfasst. Das Dichtelement weist einen Befestigungsbereich 65 auf, der in einem nicht eingebauten Zustand an dem Profilelement durch ein Befestigungsmittel befestigt ist. Weiterhin weist das Dichtelement wenigstens einen das Profilelement überlappenden Bereich auf, wobei der Überlappungsbereich 63 ausgestaltet ist, um das Profilelement in seiner Einbauposition zu fixieren.
