A lock cylinder extending along a longitudinal axis includes: one or more pin-shaped bolts, each pin-shaped bolt having a cylinder pin, a housing pin, and a bolt spring; a housing having a substantially hollow cylindrical core receptacle and a flange portion projecting radially away from the core receptacle with respect to the longitudinal axis, the flange portion being closed on a front side of the housing and open on a rear side or an underside of the housing. In addition, the lock cylinder is provided with a lock cylinder part; the lock cylinder part is rotatably mounted in the cylinder accommodating part of the housing; the lock cylinder includes an inner shell inserted into the flange portion of the housing through an open rear side or lower side.
