The window installation system comprises a kit of parts for protecting a window frame in a window installation process. The window frame has a top frame member (300), a bottom frame member (200), a first side frame member (100), and a second side frame member (100) defining a central opening, the kit of parts comprising: a bottom protection member (11); and at least one side protection member (12, 13), wherein said at least one side protection member is configured to be connected to the bottom protection member, thereby forming a protection unit (10).
