A slat (100) intended to form part of the roof of a covering, for example a pergola, is described. The slat (100) comprises a metal body (104) which comprises at least one face (106), characterized in that this face (106) is coated with a polymer film (202), wherein the metal body (104) is provided with a coating layer (204) onto which the polymer film (202) is bonded and/or wherein the metal body is anodized and/or bichromatized, the polymer film (202) is bonded to this anodized and/or bichromatized metal body (104).
