FOUNDATION AND TOOL FOR INSTALLING A COMPOSITE POLE
The present invention relates to a foundation (1) for attaching a composite pole (2) to the ground, comprising: - a load distribution panel (3) provided to receive at least one attachment means (6, 7a, 7b) for attachment to the ground, said foundation (1 ) comprising: - an outer tube (4) and an inner tube (5) angularly attached to the load distribution panel (3), said outer tube (4) and inner tube (5) are respectively provided to engage a part of the composite pole (2a) when the pole (2) is placed in the foundation (1), said foundation (1) further comprises apertures provided transverse in the inner and outer tube (5, 4) respectively, provided to receive a pole bolt (8) for securing the foundation (1) to the composite pole (2). The invention also relates to a tools for attaching a composite pole to a foundation, comprising a foundation part (21) provided to be releasably attached to the composite pole (2), said foundation part (21) and the pole part (22) are hingedly interconnected at one end (23) such that the pole part (22) can rotate about an axis (A) intersecting a hinged end (23) which connects the pole part (22) and the foundation part (21). Additionally, the invention relates to an attachment system comprising a pole bolt to attach the foundation and the tool, and a method of use of the tool to attach the pole to the foundation.
