ROOF LAMINATE WITH FLEXIBLE EDGES
A laminate (1) for roof insulation with three layers, a top layer that is a spunbond (21), a middle layer that is an active film (25) and a bottom layer that is a woven fabric (11). The top and middle layer, i.e. the spunbond (21) and the film (25), form the active element (20) and the bottom layer, i.e. the woven fabric (11) forms the reinforcement element (10). The width of the spunbond (21) and the active film (25) is larger than the width of the woven fabric (11), so that the laminate (1) has a very flexible and soft strip (60) that overhangs beyond the more rigid and stronger woven fabric (11). The soft strip (60) is joint with a stronger edge of an adjacent laminate (1), so as to attain a strong, durable and water-tight connection.
