The invention relates to an H-shaped paving stone. The paving stone has a rectangular center portion and two rectangular lateral portions that extend beyond the center portion on either side. A wedge-shaped projection is provided on opposite sides and in the center of both lateral faces of the center portion. The lateral faces further have corresponding beveled portions and hook-shaped projections such that paving stones can be laterally added to form a pavement, resulting in an irreversible connection.
