SINK AND FRAME ASSEMBLY AND COUNTERTOP COMPRISING A SINK AND FRAME ASSEMBLY
A modular sink and frame assembly (100) for mounting in an opening (104) of a countertop (102), the sink and frame assembly comprising: a frame (106) consisting of a vertical portion (108), a first horizontal portion (112) extending in a first direction from a first end (109) of the vertical portion and a second horizontal portion (114) extending in a second direction from a second end (110) of the vertical portion, the second direction being opposite the first direction, the first horizontal portion being configured to be attached to a countertop; a sink (115) comprising a flange (116) located at an upper portion of the sink, the flange being configured to rest on an upper side (118) of the second horizontal portion of the frame, and wherein the sink further comprises self-engaging fastening means (120) for securing the sink to the frame, wherein the fastening means are configured to engage with the second horizontal portion when sink is lowered into the frame.
