A road milling machine (10) includes a machine frame (12) having a longitudinal axis (14). A plurality of ground engaging units (20A-D) support the machine frame from a ground surface. A milling drum is supported from the machine frame. An operator's station is supported from the machine frame by a support linkage configured to move the operator's station laterally between an inner position and an outer position relative to the machine frame. The support linkage includes at least one pivot link extending between the machine frame and the operator's station (48) and oriented to pivot about a pivot axis extending parallel to the longitudinal axis of the machine frame. The operator's station in the outer position extends laterally partially beyond the machine frame on one of the left and right edges of the machine frame, the outer position being at a higher elevation than the inner position relative to the machine frame.
