A modular building formwork apparatus includes a formwork wall (8) and at least one interlocking device (10). The formwork wall (8) includes a wall plate (81) and a frame (82) disposed on the wall plate (81). The frame (82) has an aligning hole (821) and a locking hole (822). The interlocking device (10) includes a housing unit (1), a rotation transferring unit (2), a transmitting unit (3) and a locking member (6). The rotation transferring unit (2) has an input shaft (212) and an output shaft (222). The transmitting unit (3) is movable relative to and rotatable about the output shaft (222). The locking member (6) has a head portion (61), a positioning portion (62) and a threaded portion (63). The locking member (6) is insertable into the aligning hole (821) to permit the threaded portion (63) to threadedly engage in the locking hole (822).
