HINGE ASSEMBLY FOR A VACUUM INSULATED DOOR
A hinge assembly (20) for a vacuum insulated door (12) includes a hinge plate (22) that defines an aperture (24), and a bracket (26) has a body (28) and is configured to be welded with the vacuum insulated door (12). A hinge pin (36) is operably coupled to the body (28) of the bracket (26) and rotatably coupled within the hinge plate (22). A bushing (90) is disposed within the aperture (24) defined by the hinge plate (22) and rotatably coupled to the hinge pin (36).
