A shower room and a horizontal beam. The horizontal beam comprises: a horizontal beam body and a wall panel securing assembly; a mount slot and a first through hole in communication with the mount slot are arranged on the horizontal beam body; the wall panel securing assembly comprises a wall panel position limiting member and a wall panel securing base which can be secured on a first surface of a wall panel; the wall panel securing base can be embedded into the mount slot, and the wall panel position limiting member is configured as passing through the first through hole and restricting the wall panel securing base to within the mount slot. The shower room comprises a wall panel and a support structure which secures the wall panel; the wall panel comprises a first surface and an opposing second surface, the second surface being oriented towards an inner side of the shower room; and the support structure comprises the described horizontal beam.
