The invention relates to a drive device (1) for moving a leaf (2), in particular a door leaf or a window leaf, comprising a motor-transmission module (3) which comprises a motor-transmission housing (4), an electric machine (6) with a machine axis (X1), and a transmission (7) with an output shaft (8) that is rotatably mounted about an output axis (X2) for connecting to a lever (9) and comprising a closer module (11) comprising a closer housing (12) and a mechanical energy storage device (13). The drive device has an interface element for forming an operative connection between the motor-transmission module (3) and the closer module (11).
