AIRCRAFT SAFETY KEEPER FOR LATCH UTILIZATION
A latch mechanism (120; 220) is disclosed. In various embodiments, the latch mechanism (120; 220) includes a T-bolt body (230) and a T-bolt (238) comprising a longitudinal rod (262) extending in a longitudinal direction from the T-bolt body (230) and a transverse rod (264) disposed at an end of the longitudinal rod (262). A safety keeper (240; 340) defining a load slot (260) may be configured to receive the transverse rod (264) whereby the T-bolt (238) is configured to secure the T-bolt body (230) with respect to the safety keeper (240; 340).
