Electroluminescent module (40, 140) for horizontal road signalling, comprising an electroluminescent panel (30) comprising at least an electroluminescent device (10) and a system (33) for encapsulating said electroluminescent device (10), said electroluminescent panel (30) having a side called the "front" side, through which light is emitted when said panel (30) is in operation, and a side called the "back" side, opposite the front side, and electrical connection elements (31); characterized in that said electroluminescent panel (30) is embedded in a rigid casing (47), its front side pointing toward the exterior of the module.
