The invention relates to a slab (1) for covering a roadway surface, which comprises a substantially flat plate (2) and stiffeners (3) disposed on one and the same surface of the plate (2), substantially perpendicularly to the plate (2), the stiffeners extending under the plate when the slab is in an operational position, wherein: - the stiffeners (3) have a height, perpendicularly to the plate (2), that is substantially constant and form open-ended cells, - the plate (2) comprises at least one hole (4) configured to allow water present on the plate to percolate under the plate, and - at least one stiffener (3) comprises at least one hole (5) configured to allow the water to flow laterally.
