A powerline carrier adapted to carry powerlines on one or more curb stones is provided, the powerline carrier being an elongate volume, elongate in a longitudinal direction and having a transverse cross section adapted to be partially sunken in said one or more curb stones. The circumference of the transverse cross section comprises a first part adapted to contact the one or more curb stones. The section comprises a second part defining the outer side of the powerline carrier oriented away from the one or more curb stones. The powerline carrier comprises at least one housing for holding at least one, optionally only one power point, the power point being accessible at the outer side of the powerline carrier. The volume comprises at least a first tubular channel extending in said longitudinal direction, this first tubular channel having one outer end near or at one of the transverse sides of the volume, and this first tubular channel is adapted to hold one or more power cables in the longitudinal direction of the powerline carrier. At least one cable or wire is provided in said first tubular channel between one of the transverse sides of the volume and one or more of the at least one housing.
