The invention relates to a system for the air conditioning of a building which has a back-ventilated planar element that is connected to at least one exhaust duct for the removal of air from the back ventilation, and which is provided with an air-conditioning unit that is connected to a fluid circuit of a heat pump, wherein: the exhaust duct and an additional fluid circuit of the heat pump are connected to an energy accumulator located outside of the building; the energy accumulator, for the transfer of energy and for the storage of energy, comprises a heat exchanger in a liquid reservoir that is connected to the additional fluid circuit of the heat pump via the heat exchanger; and the air is guided out of the exhaust duct into the liquid reservoir via a heat transfer element.
