    The invention relates to a one-piece lock striker for a motor vehicle locking device and in particular a motor vehicle lock and preferably a motor vehicle door lock, the lock striker being a predominantly solid component with different cross-sectional thicknesses (Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4). The lock striker comprises a base plate (3) and a shackle element (2, 4, 5) standing thereon, and the shackle element (2, 4, 5) has a front bar (2), an upper connecting piece (5) and a rear base (4). The bar (2) and the base (4) also connect the connecting piece (5) to the base plate (3). According to the invention, a reinforcing element (6) connecting the bar (2) and the base (4) is also provided.
