Un aparato de limpieza de piscinas que comprende: un primer filtro (30; 210) un primer impulsor (71); un primer motor de bomba (81) dispuesto para girar el primer impulsor (71); una unidad de accionamiento (16, 16') dispuesta para mover el robot de aparato de limpieza de piscinas (10); una pared (40; 216) un alojamiento externo (11) que comprende una primera entrada (22) y una primera salida (61); caracterizado por que además comprende una guía en espiral (42); en donde la guía en espiral (42) está conectada a al menos uno, fuera de una superficie interior del primer filtro (30; 210) y la pared (40; 216); en donde el primer filtro (30; 210), la guía en espiral (42), y la pared (40; 216) definen un primer espacio (110) que tiene una parte en espiral; en donde el primer impulsor (71) está dispuesto para girar a lo largo de una primera dirección rotacional; en donde la rotación del primer impulsor (71) a lo largo de una primera dirección rotacional hace que el fluido sea extraído a través de la primera entrada (22) y fluya para seguir una trayectoria en espiral dentro del primer espacio (110) durante la cual el fluido es filtrado por el primer filtro (30; 210) para proporcionar el primer fluido filtrado que sale a través de la primera salida (61) del alojamiento (11).
A pool cleaning apparatus comprising a filter; a entrapment cell ; a first impeller; a first pump motor arranged to rotate the first impeller; a driving unit arranged to move the pool cleaning robot; a structural element; and an external housing that comprises a first inlet and a first outlet; wherein the filter and the structural element define a first space that has a spiral portion; wherein the first impeller is arranged to rotate along a first rotational direction; wherein rotation of the first impeller along a first rotational direction causes fluid be drawn through the first inlet and to follow a spiral path within the first space during which a first portion of the fluid is filtered by the filter to provide filtered fluid that exits through the first outlet of the housing; and a second portion of the fluid follows the spiral path until entering the entrapment cell.
