The invention relates to a device for installation in a wall, such as a plasterboard wall or a breeze block wall, the device comprising: - a shell with a recess and flange arranged around the recess; and - an element nesting in the recess. The invention further relates to a combination of a pre-wall and a device according to the invention, wherein the pre-wall comprises an opening in which the recess of the shell is arranged and wherein the flange of the shell lies against the edge of the opening.
