The flexible sleeve preferably has a peripheral edge 4) and the form-retaining peripheral flange is formed by two ring parts (5, 6) which are arranged on each other and between which the peripheral edge (4) of the flexible sleeve (2) is enclosed. Enclosing the peripheral edge of the flexible sleeve between two ring parts arranged on each other brings about a connection between two different materials in a mechanical manner. It is thus possible for the flexible sleeve to be of EPDM rubber while the ring parts are of a readily adherable material such as PVC.
