Una geocelda reforzada hecha de tiras poliméricas flexibles (1), dispuestas en filas e interconectadas en un orden escalonado longitudinalmente para formar una estructura de celda tridimensional, cuando se estira en una dirección normal a las superficies de dichas tiras (1), las tiras (1) provistas de aberturas de drenaje (4) y reforzadas mediante hilos de refuerzo (3) a lo largo de una dirección longitudinal de dichas tiras (1), caracterizada por que los hilos de refuerzo (3) consisten en al menos dos elementos fibrosos, estando cada elemento fibroso retorcido a lo largo de toda la longitud de cada elemento fibroso, estando dichos al menos dos elementos fibrosos retorcidos a lo largo de toda la longitud de un hilo de refuerzo respectivo.
The invention relates to the construction industry, in particular to a reinforced geocell and to a method for producing the same. The reinforced geocell is made of flexible polymeric strips arranged in rows and interconnected in a staggered order lengthwise to form a three-dimensional cell structure when stretched in the direction normal to surfaces of the strips. The strips are provided with drainage apertures and are reinforced in a longitudinal direction with reinforcing threads consisting of at least two fibrous elements twisted along full lengths thereof. According to the proposed method for producing a geocell, a melted polymeric material is extruded for producing a sheet material, twisted reinforcing threads are laid onto the sheet material, the sheet material is calendered when heated to 120 to 200°C for ensuring pressing the reinforcing threads into the sheet material, a reinforced sheet material is cut into sheets, the sheets are perforated for producing drainage apertures and cut into strips, and the strips are interconnected in a staggered order to form a three-dimensional cell structure. The technical effect is improved reliability of holding the reinforcing elements in the strips and improved tensile strength of the geocell at stretching and shear loads.
