Procedimiento y aparato para consolidar una losa de material de piedra natural o artificial
Procedimiento para reforzar una losa de material de piedra natural o artificial que comprende las etapas siguientes: a) sellar la superficie no visible (16) de la losa y, cuando sea necesario, las superficies de los bordes (18, 20, 22, 24); b) posicionar la losa (12) sobre una superficie de soporte (26), con la superficie visible (14) dirigida hacia arriba; c) proporcionar un cordón adhesivo (28) sobre la superficie visible (14), en la proximidad del borde perimetral de la losa (12); d) distribuir una resina (30) sobre la superficie visible (14), en la zona delimitada por el cordón adhesivo (28); e) en condiciones de vacío, disponer encima de la losa una lámina (32) de material antiadhesivo y seguidamente, aplicar presión sobre la resina por medio de un pistón de prensado (50); f) restablecer la presión atmosférica; g) endurecer la resina (30); y h) finalizar por mecanizado la resina (12).
A method for reinforcing a slab of natural or artificial stone material comprising the steps of: a) sealing the non-visible surface (16) of the slab and, where necessary, the surfaces of the edges (18, 20, 22, 24); b) positioning the slab (12) on a support surface (26), with the visible surface (14) directed upwards; c) providing a compressible adhesive bead (28) on the visible surface (14), in the vicinity of the perimetral edge of the slab (12); d) distributing a resin (30) over the visible surface (14), in the zone bounded by the adhesive bead (28); e) under vacuum conditions, arranging on top of the slab a sheet (32) of anti-adhesive material and then applying pressure on the bead and the resin by means of a press ram (50); f) restoring the atmospheric pressure; g) hardening the resin (30); and h) finish-machining the slab (12).
