La présente invention concerne un mortier pulvérulent éventuellement mélangé avec de l'eau comprenant au moins un liant hydraulique minéral, au moins 75% en volume de poudre de mortier d'additifs isolants thermiquement sensiblement en forme de billes et de conductivité thermique inférieure ou égale à 55 mW/m.K. Les additifs isolants thermiquement sont étanches à l'eau et au moins 20% en volume de poudre de mortier desdits additifs, appelés microsphères isolantes, sont unicellulaires, c'est-à-dire dotés d'une coque externe fermée délimitant un coeur formé d'une unique cavité interne, et sont microniques, de dimension caractéristique externe moyenne maximale inférieure à 0,5 mm. La présente invention concerne un tel mortier en couche ou sous forme de plaque ou brique ou toute autre présentation appropriée.
