The heat exchanger has an upstream circuit (10) for circulating fluid in an upstream manner, and a downstream circuit (20) for circulating fluid in a downstream manner. The upstream circuit and the downstream circuit are arranged in a structurally overlapping manner so as to allow energy transfer of the upstream fluid toward the downstream fluid. A control device controls flow of fluid in the upstream circuit according to temperature of the fluid at an inlet of the upstream circuit.
