The gate (10) has a female element (24) comprising a U-shaped section that defines a cavity to retain a male element (21), where the elements are assembled/disassembled by translation of the elements with respect to each other parallel to an axis (14). One of the elements is integrated into a leaf (11) and the other element is integrated into another leaf (12) or a pillar (15) such that the elements are assembled and opposed to an opening of the gate by rotation of the former leaf around the axis in a closed position of the gate. An independent claim is also included for a method for opening a gate.
