Method for producing insulated blocks (1) for building walls, the method being characterized in that it comprises: - the manufacture of blocks (1), each block thus manufactured comprising walls (1a, 1b) between which there is at least one cavity (2) internal to the block (1); - the introduction of an expanding insulating foam (3) into at least some of the internal cavities (2) of the blocks (1); - the extraction of gas lying inside the said cavities (2) internal to the blocks (1) where the expanding insulating foam (3) is situated so as to encourage the insulating foam (3) to expand in the cavities (2) internal to the blocks (1) where the insulating foam is situated.
