The invention relates to a rectangular metal roof accessory (1), comprising, across the width thereof, two portions (2, 3) in which the main planes (P2, P3) form an angle (α) therebetween of 75° to 105°, a first portion (2) of said accessory (1) being provided with at least one area for contact by overlapping, a second portion (3) of said accessory (1) defining an edge strip, characterised in that the contact area comprises a plurality of contact members, formed by raised patterns (4) provided on one surface of the accessory (1), parallel to one another, and arranged in a direction parallel to the length (L) of the accessory (1).
