L'invention se rapporte à un vitrage (1) latéral d'un moyen de transport, en particulier un vitrage de train, ledit vitrage comprenant : - une vitre extérieure (2) feuilletée et comprenant au moins une feuille de verre extérieure (3), une feuille de verre intérieure (5), ainsi qu'une feuille de matière plastique (4) située entre ladite feuille de verre extérieure (3) et ladite feuille de verre intérieure (5), chaque feuille (3, 4, 5) de ladite vitre extérieure (2) présentant un chant (30, 40, 50) périphérique, - une vitre intérieure (6), - une structure de cadre de vitrage (7) qui est située en périphérie de ladite vitre extérieure (2) et en périphérie de ladite vitre intérieure (6), caractérisé en ce que le chant (30) de ladite feuille de verre extérieure (3) est situé en retrait (r) du chant (50) de ladite feuille de verre intérieure (5) sur une partie au moins de la longueur du chant (30) de ladite feuille de verre extérieure (3) et de préférence sur la totalité de la longueur du chant (30) de ladite feuille de verre extérieure (3) et en ce que ladite structure de cadre de vitrage (7) n'est pas au contact de ladite feuille de verre extérieure (3).
