L'invention concerne un assemblage (10) articulé de deux maillons (100, 101, 102) pour une chaîne (8) d’excavation pour un dispositif d’excavation (4) de ballast, un premier (101) des deux maillons (101, 102) comportant un corps (101’) monobloc comportant deux flasques (110a, 110b) parallèles l’un à l’autre et à un plan de référence (P) de l’assemblage (10) articulé, traversés chacun par un trou traversant (111) aligné sur un axe géométrique d’articulation (X) de l’assemblage (10) articulé, perpendiculaire au plan de référence (P), un deuxième (102) des deux maillons comportant un corps (102’) monobloc comprenant un flasque de guidage (120) inséré entre les deux flasques parallèles (110a, 110b) du premier (101) des deux maillons (101, 102), le flasque de guidage (120) étant traversé par un trou de guidage (112) aligné sur l’axe géométrique d’articulation (X), l’assemblage (10) articulé comportant en outre un gond (160) inséré dans le trou de guidage (112) et le trou traversant (111) de chacun des deux flasques (110a, 110b) parallèles, l’assemblage (10) articulé étant caractérisé en ce que : le trou de guidage (112) est renforcé par une douille (113) configurée pour recevoir le gond (160) et guider le gond (160) en rotation par rapport au corps (102’) monobloc du deuxième maillon (102) ; et en ce que le trou traversant (111) de l’un (110b) des deux flasques parallèles comprend un plat (105) coopérant avec un méplat (161) du gond (160) de sorte à bloquer en rotation le gond (160) par rapport au corps (101’) monobloc du premier maillon (101). Disclosed is an articulated assembly of two links for a ballast removal chain, a first of the two links comprising a single-piece member having two flanges which are parallel to one another and each of which has a through-hole, a second of the two links comprising a single-piece member comprising a guide flange that is inserted between the two parallel flanges of the first link, the guide flange being penetrated by a guide hole, the articulated assembly further comprising a hinge pin that is inserted into the guide hole and the through-hole in each of the two parallel flanges. The guide hole is reinforced by a bushing designed to receive the hinge pin and rotatingly guide the hinge pin relative to the single-piece member of the second link. The through-hole in one of the two parallel flanges comprises a flat portion cooperating with a flat section of the hinge pin so as to prevent the hinge pin from rotating relative to the single-piece member of the first link.
