Un cadre isolant (1) adapté pour recevoir une menuiserie pour une ouverture ménagée dans une paroi structurelle d’un bâtiment, ledit cadre isolant comprenant :- un châssis (100) comprenant une traverse supérieure (110), une traverse inférieure (170), deux montants latéraux verticaux (150),- une façade (200), la façade (200) étant destinée à être fixée sur la face avant du châssis (100) orientée vers l’extérieur du bâtiment;- le châssis (100) comprenant une paroi horizontale (131) et une paroi verticale (132) s’étendant entre les deux montants verticaux latéraux de sorte que la traverse supérieure (110), les montants latéraux (150), la paroi horizontale (131), la partie horizontale supérieure (210) de la façade et la paroi verticale (132) forment un caisson de logement d’un volet roulant (130), la traverse inférieure (170), et les montants latéraux (150) et la paroi horizontale (131) forment un cadre support configuré pour être appliqué contre le pourtour de l’ouverture sur la face avant de la paroi structurelle orientée vers l’extérieur du bâtiment. An insulating frame (1) designed to receive joinery for an opening formed in a structural wall of a building, the insulating frame comprising: - a sash (100) comprising an upper crossmember (110), a lower crossmember (170) and two vertical lateral uprights (150), - a façade (200), the façade (200) being intended to be fastened to the front face of the sash (100) that is oriented towards the outside of the building; - the sash (100) comprising a horizontal wall (131) and a vertical wall (132) extending between the two lateral vertical uprights such that the upper crossmember (110), the lateral uprights (150), the horizontal wall (131), the upper horizontal part (210) of the façade and the vertical wall (132) form a box for housing a roller shutter (130), the lower crossmember (170), the lateral uprights (150) and the horizontal wall (131) forming a support frame configured to be applied against the periphery of the opening on the front face of the structural wall that is oriented towards the outside of the building.
