The invention relates to a multipurpose wall-mounted wash basin comprising: - a bottom wall extending between a first and a second end across a vertical plane; - a front wall extending from the first end away from said vertical plane as far as a first height along a vertical axis; - a back wall extending from the second end away from the vertical plane as far as a second height along said vertical axis; - a first and a second side wall connecting the front wall, the back wall and the bottom wall so as to define an interior space of the wash basin; - the first and/or the second side wall having a third height along said vertical axis that is less than the first and than the second height so as to create a lateral passage toward said interior space.
