The invention relates to a tent comprising a first hoop portion (22); a tent material (30) defining first and second material walls (32, 34) that are adjacent and separated by the first hoop portion; a roof (40) defining a first overhang (42) overhanging the first material wall and a second overhang (44) overhanging the second material wall, the roof comprising a first spacing element (60) configured to be supported by the first hoop portion in such a way that the first spacing element extends transversally to the first hoop portion, the first spacing element having a first end part configured to hold the first overhang in front of the first material wall, and at a distance from the first material wall, and a second end part configured to hold the second overhang in front of the second material wall, and at a distance from the second material wall, the first and second overhangs being located on either side of the first hoop portion.
