La présente invention se rapporte à un vitrage lumineux comportant : - un premier substrat revêtu d’un revêtement fonctionnel, ledit substrat comportant deux faces et une tranche ; - une source de lumière comprenant une surface émettrice, couplée optiquement avec le substrat de telle sorte que la lumière pénètre dans le substrat par une face d’entrée et que le substrat forme un guide de lumière ; - un élément extracteur de lumière pour extraire la lumière et former un motif lumineux; le vitrage étant caractérisé en ce qu’il comporte au moins un polariseur de lumière situé entre la surface émettrice de la source de lumière et la face d’entrée de la lumière dans le substrat.
The present invention relates to a luminous glazing unit comprising: - a first substrate coated with a functional coating, the substrate comprising two faces and an edge; - a light source comprising an emitting surface optically coupled to the substrate such that the light enters the substrate through an entry face and the substrate forms a light guide; ‐ a light extractor element for extracting the light and forming a light pattern; the glazing unit being characterised in that it comprises at least one light polariser located between the emitting surface of the light source and the face through which the light enters the substrate.
