Prefabricated portable housing module
A prefabricated portable housing module 100 comprising: a central cuboid member 102 having a roof portion 104, a floor portion 106 and at least two opposing fixed walls 108 therebetween; roof panels 110 pivotably attached to the fixed walls; floor panels 112 pivotably attached to the central floor portion comprising end panels 114 foldably arranged between the floor and roof panels; the central cuboid member comprising side panels 116 extending from the fixed walls to the end panels and slidably coupled to the floor and roof panels. Partition walls (218 Fig. 2H) may form rooms. Outer panels and walls may be configured to be folded within the central cuboid member. When erected, the central cuboid member may be the highest point and the roof panels may be inclined. When folded, the roof, floor and end panels may be coplanar and the side panels and fixed walls may be coplanar. Supports 118 may be positioned underneath the floor panels. Pinch plates 120 may be coupled to the roof. Panels may have windows 122. The side panels, end panels and partition walls may be joined using L-shaped joints and PVC corners. Tape may cover joints. An installation method is also provided.
