A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
A device for skimming an oil layer from a water surface for large or small area application comprising of a flattened nozzle 1 which is supported by buoyant material 2, having a positional frame 3. The frame may preferably be attached to the front or side of a boat or be manually held. The rear of the nozzle will be attached to a vacuum pump which will suction the pollutant to a separation area. The nozzle will preferably have a mess cover 4 over the inlet to stop any debris from being built up.
