Roof panel assembly
A roofing panel for assembly in an array of roofing panels to form a roof structure, the roofing panel comprising a weather proof sheet having inner and outer sides and has a sheet profile that comprises a raised ridge and with a channel formed in a side of the raised ridge. The panel may be an insulated double skinned panel. The ridge may form an overlap portion for engaging an adjacent panel. The channel acts as a part of a securing arrangement for securing a further structure on the outer side of the sheet. For example an energy panel such as photovoltaic (PV) panel may be inserted into the channel so as to create a gap between the solar panel and the roofing panel.
