Rotationally moulded cases
A catch plate 49 for a moulded plastics case comprises a sheet of rigid material having serrated lateral edges 50 and reception means 51 for receiving a latch blade. A method of providing a catch plate in a moulded plastics case comprises providing a catch plate, providing a recess in the case, the recess including first and second slots on respective internal sides of the recess and inserting the catch plate into the recess with the serrated edges being received within the respective slots. Preferably, catch plate is inserted whilst the case is still soft following moulding such that the plastics material will shrink around the serrated edges. A method of providing a hinge connection between a lid and a body of a case is further provided comprising the steps of providing a hinge fitting comprising a latch and a catch plate with reception means for a latch blade and means for clamping the latch blade within the reception means and attaching the hinge fitting between the lid and the case.
