A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Joint for inflatable structures
The invention relates to a joint between first and second inflatable structures 10, 20. The joint has at least one first loop of material 12A, 12B, 12C on the first structure and at least one second loop of material 22A, 22B, 22C on the second structure. An inflatable tube 30 is provided which, when deflated, can be passed through the first and second loops alternately and then inflated to secure the first and second structures together. The structure may be used as an inflatable work platform for yachts.
